Each day has enough burden on it's own. Leave tomorrow's burden for tomorrow.
Last night while watching Netflix a character in the show said something similar. It struck a chord with me for I have lived with anxiety most of my life.
I reflected long on this when sleep escaped me last night and I realized I handle my anxiety when I focus on just the next step - that day. Just as students with learning disabilities who need to be presented information a little chunk at time, I need to do that same.
If I only allow myself to worry over a small portion of stressors, the ones most pressing, the anxiety loses it’s ability to engulf me.
